When the pandemic began in 2020, many people searched for something to occupy their time. The founder of LLdezigns, Laura Leone, was no different. Inspired by some acrylic pouring videos viewed online, she decided to try the artform herself. While Laura enjoyed creating canvas works, she was seeking a more unique "canvas." That's when the idea came to try painting on a clear, glass vase and from there, her imagination and creativity blossomed. After a few years of perfecting her craft, LLdezigns was born. Meet the Artist
Laura Leone

A native of Wilmington, Delaware and one of seven siblings in a close-knit family, Laura is a graduate of Brandywine High School. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware in Health Sciences and a Master's degree from Wilmington University in Education and Leadership. For 30 years, Laura served as a teacher in the Delaware school systems including over 15 years at Hodgson Vocational Technical School where she also served as Athletic Director. Over the years, she has coached Swimming and Volleyball at the local high school and national club levels.

Once the Bulldog at Brandywine High and the Fightin' Blue Hen at the University of Delaware, Laura is known to her family and friends for her outgoing nature and fun spirit. She has always put her heart and soul into each activity she has tackled, and hopes all of you see the outpouring of love in each "dezign" she creates.
